Faxly: Private Fax from Phone is built local-first. Your fax content stays on your device. This policy explains the limited data we process to make faxing work.

What stays on your device

The documents you fax, your sent/received faxes, transmission reports, and your recents list are stored only on your iPhone, encrypted at rest. We never receive a durable copy of your fax content.

What our servers process

• Account identifier — so your page credits survive reinstall (anonymous by default; linked to Sign in with Apple if you choose).
• Email address — only if you sign in with Apple.
• Recipient fax number and fax status — to place the call and show delivery.
• Credit balance and purchases — to track pages you own.
• Inbound fax number — for Faxly Plus subscribers who receive faxes.

Transmission relay

To transmit a fax, a short-lived copy of the document is staged so our telephony provider can fetch it, then automatically deleted after transmission (or within 72 hours). We do not retain fax content after delivery.

No tracking

Faxly: Private Fax from Phone contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Your controls

You can delete your local data at any time in Settings. To delete server-side account data or transfer a page balance, contact [email protected].

Not for protected health information

Faxly: Private Fax from Phone's standard plans are not intended for patient health information governed by HIPAA. A dedicated Clinics plan with a Business Associate Agreement is planned for healthcare use.
